Congress of Binh Duong Journalists Association (2023-2025 tenure) takes place

On September 22, at Binh Duong Newspaper’s headquarter, the Congress of Binh Duong Newspaper Journalists Association for the 2023-2025 term took place.

During the 2020-2023 term, with the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Journalists Association, Party Committee and Editorial Board, Binh Duong Newspaper Journalists Association coordinated with relevant units to organize many training classes to improve political bravery and professional expertise for journalists, preserve professional morality, and build cultural press agencies... The Association also mobilized members to stick close to the grassroots and practice to produce quality works to participate in press awards organized by the Central and Provincial governments. Besides, the Association also always pays attention to member recruitment and the legitimate rights of members.

The Congress had many discussions and practical ideas contributed to the draft political report, in which members hope that the association would continue to have more training courses for its members to meet requirements in a new context. The Congress elected the Secretariat for the 2023-2025 term, including three officials, and passed a resolution of the congress.

Recognizing the efforts in the past term, Le Minh Tung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper, gave directions and solutions in the coming term for the Secretariat, such as: continue to do a good job of political and ideological education, raise awareness, and help members understand the role, position and importance of the press in the new situation, new conditions and new trends; innovation in operations and administration; have more high-quality works to participate in the Central awards...
