Connection enhanced to elevate operation quality of all-level trade unions

Especially after organizing the 11th Binh Duong provincial Trade Union Congress of 2023-2028 tenure, the provincial Trade Union has directed all levels of its grassroots in the province to deploy various ways and solutions to improve the quality of activities with specific and practical actions.

To enhance many connection activities

In October 2023, the provincial Trade Union organized many grassroots connection activities. Specifically, the provincial Trade Union worked with the grassroots Trade Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Binh Duong Branch of Industry and Trade. At the meeting, Nguyen Tan Dat, Deputy Chairman of the provincial Trade Union, proposed organizing coordination activities between Emulation Cluster No. 6 and Emulation Cluster No. 7 of the provincial Trade Union, moving forward with a signing of coordination program between the two clusters with the purpose of innovating the operating model of the emulation clusters and improving the efficiency of trade union activities. Coordinated activities will create conditions for leaders, union members, and employees of the business and banking sectors to meet, exchange, and share experiences, thereby performing professional tasks well.

Also in October 2023, the provincial Trade Union worked with the Trade Union of Di An Train Joint Stock Company. At the working session, Nguyen Tan Dat hoped that the two units would strengthen coordination and improve the efficiency of union activities. Dat acknowledged that although Di An Train Joint Stock Company is a unit with a union under the central industry located in the province, the recent coordination between trade union levels in the province and the Trade Union has not improved. “Hopefully in the coming time, the Trade Union of Di An Train Joint Stock Company will continue to promote its strengths, accompany the movement of workers and civil servants throughout the province, with more and more models of practical significance continue to innovate content and operating methods to deserve to be a close companion of workers," Dat said.

It can be seen that, in order to improve the quality of activities at all levels of trade unions, the provincial Trade Union has directed trade unions at all levels in the province to promote connection and cooperation, organize training for trade union officials with topics on building strong grassroots trade unions and inspecting trade unions, office and financial work,propaganda and education of labor laws, care and protection of workers and labor safety.

To improve union quality with many practical solutions

Talking to us, Le Minh Hoang, Deputy Chairman of Tan Uyen city Trade Union, said that improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities is the key task of trade unions at all levels to affirm their position, the role and voice of trade unions in caring for and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of workers. Clearly identifying this, Tan Uyen city Trade Union has paid great attention to the quality of grassroots activities such as building a team of regular and professional grassroots trade union officials. Along with that, Tan Uyen city Trade Union has opened 25 training classes to foster skills, update new legal knowledge for grassroots Trade Union officials. More than 90% of key officials of enterprise trade unions have been trained and fostered in negotiation and collective bargaining skills. The unit focuses on monitoring the implementation of laws, occupational safety and hygiene, and implementing democratic regulations in the workplace. Thereby, the activities have motivated and encouraged officials, union members, and workers in the agency to improve their professional qualifications, skills, political theory, promote intelligence, and enthusiasm for building trade unions.

It can be seen that, from the goal of the Resolution of the 11th Binh Duong provincial Trade Union Congress of 2023-2028 tenure, in the coming time, trade unions at all levels in the province will continue to innovate their content and methods of operation, improve the quality of activities of grassroots such as continual building and strengthening grassroots, improve the quality of union members, innovate leadership, direction, and administration in a way that is close to the actual situation, improve the effectiveness of serving union members, workers, and employees in a specific way, and enhance the fighting spirit of the trade union organization. At the same time, trade unions at all levels in the province will strengthen propaganda and education for union members and workers, attach importance to cooperation to jointly take care of workers to benefit businesses and workers.
