Construction commencement of Red Cross house for poor household

To continue responding to the Humanitarian Month 2022, on May 30, the Red Cross Society of Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a new house for Doan Thi Ngoc Giau's family, in District 8, Phu Hoa ward.

Giau's family is in a very difficult circumstance, currently living in a temporary deteriorated house, the couple both are workers, have 2 young children but are often sick. Due to the difficult circumstance, her family could not afford a solid house. To help her family stabilize their lives, the Provincial Red Cross supported the cost for building a new house for her family worth VND 70 million; Red Cross Society of Phu Hoa ward called on Com Nha Cuoi company to finance an additional VND 80 million. The total cost of the house is 150 million.

On this occasion, Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross, presented a meaningful gift to the family; encourage her family to overcome difficulties, continue to work hard to improve their lives better.
