 Construction of the project of Pham Ngoc Thach street in TDM city is being hastened

Capital disbursement ensured

According to a report by provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the province’s total capital disbursed for basic construction over the past nine months was more than VND3.16trillion or 70.41% of the yearly plan. The total value of basic construction volume completed was nearly VND3trillion or 64.9% of the yearly plan.

Mai Hung Dung, Director of provincial Department of Planning and Investment said that the department will further recheck and give advice for provincial People’s Committee in adjusting investment capital for basic construction under a proper and effective way.

One of the province’s works with fast construction progress was the project of Pham Ngoc Thach street in TDM city with a total investment capital of over VND1.91trillion. So far, more than VND1.18trillion has been disbursed for construction of the work. The phase 1 of the project was completed and its phase 2 is now under construction. As planned, VND364.3bln will be disbursed for the implementation of the project in 2014, but over VND337.9trillion has been granted for it so far.

So far, the My Phuoc-Tan Van expressway project has completed 95% of its compensation work. Under 2014’s plan, VND16bln will be disbursed for the project, but more than VND10.33bln has been granted for it so far.

The total capital disbursed for the project of upgrading and expanding the 7A street has till now reached VND495.5bln or 80% of total. Or, the capital disbursement for the province’s key works, including those of provincial General Hospital with 1,500 beds, provincial Medical College…, has also been ensured.

Nguyen Chi Duc, Deputy Director of provincial Management Board for Investment and Construction Projects, the investor of the 7A street, the 1,500 bed-General Hospital…said that ensuring the progress of the capital disbursement will greatly contribute to hastening the construction of works on schedule.

Focusing on completion of the yearly plan

Mr.Duc added that the bid packages 02, 03, 04 and 05 of the 7A street-grading project has been fulfilled and handed over to Ben Cat town’s Urban Control Department. The bid package 01 of the project is now under construction…

As surveyed, the province is also focusing on fulfilling construction for works announced at the ceremony of the opening of the Centralized Administration Centre and the start of construction of Binh Duong New City for the remaining 3 months of the year.

Some great projects with the fast progress of construction include the 62,000sqm-Aeon Binh Duong shopping center with a total investment capital of US$95mln that is expected for completion and opening in November 2014; the 37.52 hectare-Tan Van Logistic Centre and Port Complex with a total investment capital of VND550bln… So far, the project of Tan Van Logistic Centre and Port Complex has completed its warehouse and working offices and is operating with the capacity of 70%. Its remaining items is expected to be fulfilled in October 2014.

To Mr.Dung, provincial Department of Planning and Investment will bend on overseeing the progress of construction of the province’s key works, especially ones announced at the ceremony of the opening of the Centralized Administration Centre and the start of construction of Binh Duong New City while organizing classes on guidance of the implementation of the contents pertaining to the Bidding Law, the Law on Public Investment for sectors and authorities at all levels of the province.

Meanwhile, according to Mr.Duc, provincial Management Board for Investment and Construction Projects will boost cooperation with provincial Center for Land Fund Development, relevant units and localities to fulfill compensation and clearance site while intensifying community supervision…to be able to ensure the progress of construction and quality of works implemented in 2014.
