Cooperatives’ activities should be renovated

Until now, Thu Dau Mot city has 26 cooperatives and 6 cooperative economic teams relating to fields of animal husbandry, transport, people’s credit fund, agriculture, trade-service, production-construction, handicraft and so on.

Of these, there are 2 newly-established cooperatives, 3 ones under suspension of operation. The city collective economic board’s common difficulty lies in shortage of human resources, resulting in poor efficiency.

Addressing the session, Tran Thanh Liem asked the collective economic board to spur dissemination work and select human resources to excel the entrusted tasks as well as eliminate poor quality cooperatives and expand typical models.

Tran Thanh Liem stressed that “Cooperatives should have new ways of operation and content, especially attach to socio-economic tasks”.
