Coordination intensified on inspecting and controlling smuggling, fraud and counterfeit

The Steering Committee of 389 provinces has issued a plan to combat smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2023. Specifically, coordination in inspection and control is strengthened to combat smuggling, commercial fraud and counterfeit goods throughout the province, especially in hot areas of Tan Uyen town, Ben Cat town, Thu Dau Mot city, Di An city, and Thuan An city.

The units focus on key items such as firecrackers, explosives, petroleum, liquefied petroleum gas, smuggled foreign cigarettes, household electrical goods, electronics, phones, wristwatches, wildlife, garments, food, sugar, alcohol, beer, confectionery, fresh food, agricultural supplies, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, children's toys of fake labels, Vietnamese origin, goods transported from port to port, border gate with transport routes through the province and other essential consumer goods during Tet.
