Covid-19 vaccine to be included in open immunization program

To create conditions for people to get enough vaccination against Covid-19, the province’s healthcare sector has directed all-level healthcare facilities to support vaccination against Covid-19 for people quickly. The health stations of communes, wards, towns, medical centers of districts, towns and cities in the province will periodically organize Covid-19 vaccination sites to serve people on Wednesdays and Sundays.

In a bit to further deploy vaccination against Covid-19, the province’s healthcare sector will specify subjects who are vaccinated and bring vaccination against Covid-19 into the local open immunization program, which will be deployed every month.

Statistics from the province’s healthcare sector showed that the province has so far administered more than 7.5 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine, including more than 2.8 million doses of the 1st injection, more than 2.4 million doses of the 2nd injection, more than 1.8 million doses of the 3rd injection and more than 411,000 doses of the 4th injection.
