COVID-19: Vietnam reports 6,192 new cases, 8,869 recoveries on November 3

Vietnam recorded 6,192 infections of COVID-19 in 58 localities, including 17 imported cases,  on November 3, according to the Ministry of Health.

Also the on the day, the Centre for Disease Control of south central Ninh Thuan province registered to add 914 COVID-19 cases to the Ministry of Health data system.

Of the new cases recorded on November 3, Ho Chi Minh City recorded the highest number of infections with 985, followed by neighbouring provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Duong with 905 and 773, respectively.

The national tally now stands at 939,463.

According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 3,052 patients nationwide are in serious conditions, with 288 requiring invasive ventilation and 13 on life support (ECMO).

On the day, the country saw 78 deaths from the disease. The death toll now hits 22,283.

A further 8,869 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 833,675.

By November 2, the country had injected over 84 million doses of vaccines to date, with more than 26.64 million people now fully inoculated./.
