Update: 01-06-2023 | 13:51:04

"Children are like buds on a branch/Knowing to eat and sleep, knowing how to study is good" are two verses containing Uncle Ho's love for children. Immersed in his teachings, over the past years, all-level Party committees and authorities in the province have focused on directing and mobilizing the whole political system and community to participate in child protection, care and education activities, creating all conditions for children’s comprehensive development.

Nurturing aspiration

Along with the delegation to implement the program "Nurturing aspiration" organized by provincial Children's Support Fund in collaboration with some units, we visited and gave gifts for the family of Nguyen Minh Khang (born in 2022), living in Thuan An city’s Binh Chuan ward. Minh Khang was born with a congenital heart disease, had the first heart surgery at 1 month old. At present, the baby's condition is getting worse. He is often tired and the doctor appoints a second surgery, due to the narrowness of the arterial outlet. All expenses for living and medical treatment of Khang depend on his father's income. Currently, his family is facing many difficulties, due to the high cost of Khang's surgery and treatment.

Many children with difficult circumstances have been supported by the program "Nurturing aspiration"

After visiting and encouraging, provincial Children's Support Fund gave Nguyen Minh Khang's family an amount of VND 20 million. Sunny Korea Foundation (Korea's non-profit humanitarian aid organization) also supported VND 30 million for him to get the second heart surgery, along with many other gifts given by donors and the locality, with the desire to partially share difficulties with his family.

Nguyen Tan Trieu, Director of provincial Children's Support Fund said that the program was a bridge between kind hearts to share and help children with extremely difficult circumstances in life. Hopefully, this will be a source of encouragement for families to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. With the cooperation of all-level authorities, sectors and organizations at home and abroad, many children with difficult circumstances in the province have been cared for and lived in the love and care of the whole society.

Over the past years, along with promoting socio-economic development, all-level authorities and sectors in the province have implemented many practical activities taking care of children, especially those with extremely difficult circumstances, creating favorable conditions in all aspects for children to develop comprehensively…Every year, departments, mass organizations and localities allocate funds in combination with mobilization for socialization to take care of poor children, those with extremely difficult circumstances.
