Amid the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, many people who have received full two shots of Covid-19 vaccine, but are still at the risk of contracting the pandemic. Hence, people should not be subjective, neglecting in Covid-19 prevention and control, but well implement recommendations by the Ministry of Health to create an "steel shield" to protect the health of themselves, their families and the community.
People should not be subjective even though getting vaccinated against Covid-19
Currently, the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic is still very complicated and anyone can become F0. The province has taken many drastic measures to control the pandemic. But if the people are neglecting, subjective and do not strictly implement measures against the pandemic, it may reappear, causing damage to people's lives & health and harm to the economy. Therefore, everyone needs to strictly comply with to recommendations by the Ministry of Health to create a “steel shield" to protect the health of themselves, their families and the community.
People make medical declarations by scanning their QR codes before entering the headquarters of the People's Committee of Thuan An city
Dr. Nguyen Hong Chuong, Director of provincial Department of Health said that in order to safely, flexibly and effectively control and adapt to Covid-19 pandemic when returning to the "new normal" state, people must have a high sense of responsibility in implementing the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health (facemask - disinfection - distance – no gathering - medical declaration). People should proactively perform Covid-19 antigen tests at home or participate in community Covid-19 tests when being notified by localities while participating in vaccination. Especially, Dr. Nguyen Hong Chuong emphasized that people should not negligent and subjective in Covid-19 prevention and control. “People have to scan QR codes at the visiting places (agencies, offices, medical examination and treatment facilities, restaurants, supermarkets, commercial centers, traditional markets, food retail stores, public means of transport, factories). Especially, the travel of people from areas with different pandemic levels as well as home treatment for people infected with Covid-19 should follow the guidance of the health sector," said Dr. Nguyen Hong Chuong said.
Explaining about people who have received full two shots of Covid-19 vaccine but can get Covid-19 and infect others, Assoc. Prof - Dr. Nguyen Lan Hieu, Director of Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Director Binh Duong Emergency and Resuscitation Field Hospital said that getting full two shots of Covid-19 vaccine will help people increase their immunity to the pandemic. In case of getting the pandemic, they only have mild symptoms and reduction on the risk of aggravation compared to those who have not been vaccinated. People who have received 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine may still contract the pandemic and offer infection to others, but the risks of getting the pandemic, aggravation and infection to others are reduced. According to scientific reports, the mortality rate in people who have received 2 full doses of Covid-19 vaccine is lower than that of those who have not been vaccinated or have just received one dose. Getting vaccinated against Covid-19 does not mean that people do not follow recommendations on Covid-19 prevention and control for themselves, their families and community.
“In fact, the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in many countries around the world continues being complicated. The fight against the pandemic may be long. In order to further maintain achieved results in Covid-19 fight, each of us not only comply the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health, but also being a positive propagandist, reminding those around us to jointly implement measures to protect health as well as Covid-19 prevention and control…", Assoc. Prof. - Dr. Nguyen Lan Hieu said.
IT application promoted
Amid the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, digital technology has affirmed its role as a necessary "steel shield", contributing to effective prevention and control of the pandemic. Recently, many solutions to apply information technology to serve Covid-19 prevention and control in the province have been implemented. Under the general direction, 3 technology platforms are deployed uniformly across the country, including: the platform of electronic health declaration and information management of people entering and leaving public places; the online support platform for taking samples and returning test results; the platform on Covid-19 vaccination management. These 3 platforms have been deployed by the province and obtained many positive results. However, the application of digital technology in the local Covid-19 prevention and control has still faced certain difficulties. Particularly, these platforms are not stable with errors, causing difficulties in the process of using them.
At the recent meeting on Covid-19 prevention and control, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, Head of provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has requested sectors, localities and agencies to further promote propaganda to make people be more aware of installing digital applications in Covid-19 prevention and control. Agencies and units in the province have also widely deployed the installation of information technology applications in Covid-19 prevention and control among all cadres, civil servants, laborers…
Prior to that, provincial Party Committee issued a document directing sectors, units and localities to strengthen the application of technology for Covid-19 prevention and control. State agencies, schools, civil servants, teachers, students... must strongly apply technology and agencies must have QR codes. Provincial Department of Information and Communications strengthened coordination with other departments, sectors and localities to provide guidance and support to increase the use of technology platforms and applications to effectively serve the local COVID-19 prevention and control. Currently, the application of information technology is urgent in Covid-19 prevention and control, so it requires drastic implementation in departments, localities and units in order to effectively promote the features of information technology, contributing to the fight against the pandemic.
