The “Well working, creatively working” emulation movement at Foster Vietnam Electronic Co.Ltd. has taken place very animatedly and reaped considerable results. It has created a motivation for laborers to improve their workmanship and contribute to the development of the company.

Foster Vietnam Electronic Co.Ltd. under Japan’s Foster Corporation was established in 2006 at Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park. Tran Hung Dao, President of the company’s Trade Union said that the company’s production activities require a qualified workforce, so the “Well working, creatively working” emulation movement is of great significance for the company to reach development. Particularly, it has encouraged laborers to actively create technical initiatives and innovations, thereby improving their skills and promoting the development of the company.

Also according to Mr.Dao, realizing the importance of the “Well working, creatively working” emulation movement, the company’s Trade Union has put focus on the implementation of the emulation movement. It is annually launched by the company’s Trade Union and concretized by emulation contents, namely “5S”, “Responsibility at workplace, responsibility for homework”…The company has also organized annual skill contests for workers, aiming to promote them.

Along with coordinating with the company’s directorate to launch the “Well working, creatively working” emulation movement, the company’s Trade Union has actively mobilized laborers to research and create technical innovations, initiatives while honoring outstanding individuals in the implementation of the emulation movement.

The emulation movement has not only helped laborers get more motivations for development, but also brought them opportunities to improve their income. During the 2013-2017 period, the company had hundreds of laborers winning the “well working, creatively working” title at all levels. Noticeably, there were 40 recognized as good and creative laborers at provincial level; 1 at southeastern level, 3 at national level and 2 awarded the certificates of merit of the Government.

Tran Kiem Ai, production supervisor of the company is one of the company’s laborers with technical initiatives. Over the past years, he won many prizes at the company’s creative contests and will be one of outstanding laborers honored at the upcoming ceremony to mark the 70^th anniversary of Uncle’s patriotic emulation appeal organized by provincial People’s Committee.

In the coming time, the company’s Trade Union will further promote the “Well working, creatively working” emulation movement, helping laborers improve their skills to well meet high requirements of production in the fourth industrial revolution.
