The province’s total cultivation area for the winter-spring crop 2020 is estimated at more than 5,804 hectares or 100.5% compared to the corresponding period last year, according to provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD).
Noticeably, the province now has 5,345 hectares of farming land with hi-tech application; 143.7 hectares of urban farming land…Provincial DoARD said that the situation of pestilent insects in various crop plants decreased compared to the same period last year with total affected area reducing to 2,647 hectares.
It is known that provincial DoARD has also coordinated with agricultural service centers across the province to strengthen activities on training, prediction and guidance of ways to prevent pesticide insect in various crop plants.
