Customers’ right, interest and awareness enhanced

The provincial Society of Customers’ Right and Interest Protection and Standard held its 2nd congress (2010-2015 tenure) on April 20 and selected a new executive board for the new term.

In the last term, the society raised customers’ awareness to protect themselves. The society’s members solved over 11,000 smuggling, fake production and business cases, taking back over VND800mil to the State, destroyed 175 tons of expired imported meat. For gas and oil products alone, it solved 118 cases of trade fraud, recollecting VND1.3bil to the State budget and so on.

At the congress, 5 excellent individuals who greatly contributed to the society’s activities were awarded merit certificates.
