Dau Tieng district accelerates new rural construction, urban renovation

 Through the implementation of the new rural development program, up to now, 9 out of 11 communes in Dau Tieng district have been recognized by Provincial People's Committee to meet advanced new rural standards, including: Thanh An, Dinh Hiep, Dinh Thanh, Long Hoa, Minh Tan, Dinh An, Minh Hoa, Thanh Tuyen, and Long Tan. The rural socio-economic infrastructure is getting more and more complete, roads are upgraded, schools are built spaciously, cultural and sports institutions are well invested, creating a new face for the countryside.

The rural economic structure continues to shift towards increasing the proportion of industry - services. Agricultural restructuring is on the right track, some crops and livestock are effectively converted to bring high income to people. The district's per capita income reached 76 million VND/person/year (an increase of 1.52 times compared to 2018).

In 2023-2025, the district will focus on building new rural areas with step-by-step modern infrastructure; to associate rural development with urban planning according to planning.
