Dau Tieng district develops four eco-tourism areas covering over 2,400 hectares
Dau Tieng District People's Committee announced plans to develop four eco-tourism areas by 2040. This initiative is part of a broader project focusing on eco-tourism, resorts, and entertainment within Cau Mountain protective forest, which is set to be completed by 2030. The total area designated for this project is 2,408 hectares and includes Tha La Peninsula eco-tourism, resort, and entertainment area (458 hectares), Canh Dong Cay Siu eco-tourism, resort, and entertainment area (222 hectares), Thi Tinh Dam eco-tourism area (575 hectares), and Can Nom Lake eco-tourism, resort, and entertainment area (1,153 hectares).
To develop infrastructure that aligns with the tourism, industry, trade, and services development orientation, the locality plans to establish cargo and passenger ports along Saigon River to alleviate pressure on road activities, such as: Phu Cuong Thinh Port, Ben Suc Port, Thanh An Port and Thanh Tuyen, Thanh An, Dau Tieng passenger terminals.
