Dau Tieng district strives to have 78% of the workforce joining social insurance in 2024

On April 9, Dau Tieng district Steering Committee for implementing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies (referred to as the district Steering Committee) held a conference to summarize works in 2023; set forth directions and tasks in 2024.

In 2023, the District Steering Committee closely followed the province's programs and plans, oriented and forecast the local actual situation to organize and well implement social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies in the district. Outstanding results were yielded, namely by the end of 2023, the number of workers participating in compulsory social insurance in the district was 11,184, the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance was 1,154, meeting the provincial plan; The number of people participating in health insurance was 113,866, reaching a coverage rate of 92.61%, exceeding the target of universal health insurance according to Resolution No. 22/NQHDND of the District People's Council (Resolution was 92.1%).
