Dau Tieng District Veterans Union convenes the 2022-2027 term congress

On June 30, the Veterans Union of Dau Tieng District convened its sixth Congress for the 2022-2027 tenure. Attending the congress were 155 delegates representing more than 2,000 veteran members throughout the district.

In the past tenure, the District Veterans Union inherited and promoted the tradition of "Loyalty, solidarity, exemplary, innovation"; Executive Committee of the Veterans Union highly unified to perform the role of advising the leadership in its activities to continue promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Army"; continued to maintain the ideology, improve political bravery, be consistent and stable in all situations; regularly encouraged veteran officials and members to actively train themselves and strive to exceed targets set by resolution.

During the past tenure, the District Veterans Union also establish its fund of more than VND 5 billion. The whole union had 27 farms, 66 farms, 3 cooperative groups, 1 vegetable production group, 39 service households... The Veterans Union mobilized contributions from organizations and individuals to the construction of 9 houses worth VND 720 million; repaired 5 degraded houses worth VND 138 million for poor members...

The Congress elected new Executive Committee of Veterans Union for the 2022-2027 tenure with 22 members; elect delegates to attend the Provincial Veterans Congress for the 2022-2027 tenure. Nguyen Van Hai continued to be elected as chairman of the District Veterans Union 2022 - 2027.
