Under the directions of the National Committee for Children, Dau Tieng district’s Medical Center has requested the district’s Steering Committee of the Accident and Injury Prevention Program, communes and towns to promote inspection, examination and handle violations of injury prevention for children, especially injuries caused by fire, explosion, drowning and traffic.
District-based health units must review and evaluate criteria for implementing "Safe Home", "Safe Community", "Safe School" to ensure a living environment for children. According to the district’s Health Center, the process of implementing child injury prevention and control requires the coordination and participation of mass organizations and people in detecting, monitoring, repairing works and locations that pose a risk of causing injuries to children.
