Dau Tieng’s competition of the Law on Gender Equality absorbs over 200 candidates

Early April 9, Dau Tieng district held the 2014 competition of the Law on Gender Equality with the participation of 21 teams from sectors, mass organizations and localities across the district.

Participating teams experienced two test parts: multiple-choice and presentation with the contents of the Law on Gender Equality and relevant documents.

The competition aimed to bring the Law on Gender Equality into life, raise awareness of the local authorities, sectors, mass organizations at all levels and the whole society in executing this law to eradicate discrimination between women and men, enhance the position of women in family and society towards gender equality in all aspects ranging from politics, economy, culture to society and family.

This was also a chance for the local collaborators to exchange and get access to the Law on Gender Equality in order to bring this law into life as well as making dissemination of information about it among the local people.

Finally, the organizers awarded first, second and third prizes and many other prizes to outstanding individuals and collectives at the competition
