Dau Tieng’s Red Cross Society exceeds target on voluntary blood donation

Since early this year, Dau Tieng district’s Red Cross Society has organized 6 voluntary blood donation rounds with 2,361 blood units received, or 107.3% of the plan assigned by the province.

To achieve the above result, the district’s Steering Committees for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization and its branches has promoted propaganda and mobilized people from all walks of life to participate in blood donation. Along with that, the district’s Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization coordinated with provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization to grant 2,361 certificates for blood donors.

Especially, in units with forces participating in blood donation, the district’s Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization has made efforts in well realizing the management of lists, addresses, health status, number of blood donations, blood types and blood donation times, date of issuance of the blood donation certificate of each individual participating in voluntary blood donation for the first time and repeat.
