Dau Tieng’s Youth Union marks War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day

In honor of this year’s War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union will organize a peak week for activities of “paying debt of gratitude”, including kicking off the district’s first root-return festive day, holding a candle-burning ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs…

The district’s Youth Union will also mobilize the local Youth Union members to take care of Vietnamese heroic mothers; visit, present gifts and provide free medical check-ups for the families of war invalids and martyrs and those who rendered service to the nation; organize an exchange program with veterans; tidy up monuments…

The above activities aim to arise the national pride of Youth Union members, children and people about the contributions of the old generation while propagandizing the glorious revolutionary tradition of Dau Tieng district’s army and people.
