Dau Tieng, Tan Uyen mark traditional Vietnamese elderly’s day

Early June 6, Dau Tieng district’s Association of the Elderly held a get-together to mark the traditional day of the Vietnamese elderly (June 6, 1941-June 6, 2018).

Accordingly, the association reviewed a task of taking care of the elderly over the past five years (2013-2018); awarded the certificates of merit to 49 individuals, 27 collectives for their contributions to caring for the elderly; congratulated 24 officials on their longevity.

The get-together aimed to encourage officials of the association to actively get involving in taking care of the elderly while honoring individuals, collectives making contributions to the association.

On this occasion, 22 outstanding elderly people were honored by the town’s People’s Committee for their excellent achievements in production-business for the period of 2012-2018.
