Dau Tieng township marks its 20th anniversary

Since its establishment, Dau Tieng township has maintained a stable growth with the local economic structure reaching positive changes. The township’s total production value has gained the annual growth of 12.14% with the annual average economic growth rate of 11.8%.

There are now 100% of the local households in use of clean water and power. The township has so far spent VND21bln on socio-economic infrastructure construction at the local demand for development; excelled at taking care of policy beneficiary families…The ratio of the local poor households has reduced to 3.16% and there have been more than 89.93% of households winning the title of “cultural households”.

Upholding achievements done, Dau Tieng township will speed up its economic growth, creating positive changes in the period of 2016 and 2020; ensure social welfare, strive to reduce the rate of poor households to below 2% and have 100% of schools meeting national standards; maintain political security, social order and safety.
