Delegation of planned cadres at provincial Party level conducts practical research on urban development, renewable and sustainable energy

In the framework of the working program in Singapore, on May 21, a delegation of 3 classes of planned cadres at provincial Party level for the 2020-2025 and 2025-2030 terms, led by comrade Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council, had a working session and actual research on housing and urban development at Surbana Jurong Group; renewable and sustainable energy development strategy towards Netzero of Sembcorp Group.

At the working sessions, the delegation learned about the models and operational mechanisms of two leading corporations in Singapore. Particularly, Surbana Jurong Group is a global urban, infrastructure and management services consulting group with more than 120 offices in over 40 countries. Meanwhile, Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) is a leading energy and urban solutions provider, providing innovative solutions that support energy transition and sustainable development. Sembcorp has an energy portfolio of more than 13GW, with more than 3.5GW of renewable energy capacity, including solar, wind and energy storage across the world. This group also has a record of developing industrial urban fields by turning raw land into sustainable industrial urban areas, with a total area of ​​more than 12,000 hectares across Asia...In Binh Duong, Sembcorp and Becamex IDC has established Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Joint Venture Company to invest in the VSIP model.
