Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong works with provincial leaders on the new Dong Nai bridge project

*Speeding up compensation and site clearance for key works

Late May 8, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong had a working session with leaders of provincial People’s Committee about queries in compensation and site clearance for the new Dong Nai bridge project linking Binh Duong and Bien Hoa.

On behalf of leaders of provincial People’s Committee, Mr.Nam received and worked with Mr.Dong. After hearing a report on the result of compensation, site clearance and relevant petitions, Mr.Dong acknowledged the efforts by provincial People’s Committee, sectors and Di An town in hastening construction of the new Dong Nai bridge project. He added that compensation and site clearance for cases without any queries must be absolutely solved in May 2014. Coercion for cases in which people do not comply with the law must be fulfilled on June 16 at the latest. For construction units, they must consider and take watch on traffic to avoid traffic jams during the construction process.

*Prior to that, provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Van Nam also presided over a meeting to solve queries in compensation and site clearance for the My Phuoc-Tan Van highway project, the project of expanded Ha Noi highway and Mien Dong Coach Station.

After hearing a report from the People’s Committee of Di An town, Mr.Nam asked for relevant units to urgently solve cases with queries in compensation and site clearance for the My Phuoc-Tan Van highway project so that the project will be fulfilled by the end of 2014. For the project of expanded Ha Noi highway and Mien Dong Coach Station, relevant agencies were also been required to make efforts to soon fulfill compensation and site clearance.
