Determination made to fulfill the socio-economic development plan in 2023

Morning of January 17, Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Mai Hung Dung - Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee and Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and Nguyen Van Danh -Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired the regular meeting in January 2023. Attending the event was leaders of departments and branches and representative leaders of 9 districts, towns and cities.

At the meeting, the delegates listened to the leaders of the departments and branches briefly presenting the draft implementation plan of the government's Resolution No. 01/NQCP dated January 6, 2023 on the main tasks and solutions to implement socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates and improvement of the business environment and national competitiveness in 2023, draft regulations on land price adjustment coefficient (the K coefficient) in 2023, draft regulations on criteria for ensuring requirements on natural disaster prevention and control for works and houses owned by households in the province, and housing development plan in Binh Duong province in 2023.

In order to complete the socio-economic development plan in 2023, the Department of Planning and Investment has advised the provincial People's Committee to request departments, agencies and organizations at all levels to determine to maintain the spirit of overcoming difficulties and solidarity, self-reliance, proactive adaptation, flexibility, innovation and efficiency with 6 key tasks set out. The delegates also agreed on the policy of submitting the contents presented at the meeting.

Concluding speech, Vo Van Minh emphasized that 2023 is the pivotal year to implement the Resolution of the 11th provincial Party Congress and the 5-year socio-economic development plan of 2021-2025, requiring departments and branches to focus on implementing basic solutions to complete assigned plans and tasks. During the traditional Tet holiday, localities need to pay attention to social security to take care of the lives of workers and the poor, and ensure security and order on the occasion before, during and after Tet. In which, attention should be paid to order and urban traffic for neat arrangement of construction works to ensure aesthetics and safety for people to travel during Tet holidays.
