Development investment capital from the budget increases by 2.5 times in August 2022

In August 2022, the realized investment capital managed by localities had a good increase compared to the same period last year. Accordingly, it is estimated that total development investment capital allocated by the State budget capital and managed by localities in August was 848.1 billion VND, an increase of 2.5 times compared to the same period last year, of which the provincial budget capital was 432.5 billion VND, increased by 2.1 times, accounting for 51% of total capital; district capital was 376.7 billion VND, up 3.3 times over the same period last year, accounting for 44.4% of total capital; commune capital was 38.8 billion VND, up 2.6 times over the same period last year, accounting for 4.6% of total capital.

Over the first eight months of 2022, the State budget capital managed and realized by localities was 5,054.9 billion VND, equaling 98.4% over the same period last year. The reason for the decrease is that the public investment capital plan in 2022 is lower than the public investment capital plan in 2021. According to a report of Provincial State Treasury, disbursement value of public investment from the beginning of this year to August 15th 2022 is VND 2,921.7 billion, reaching 33.5% of the plan.
