Di An City does many volunteer activities to share difficulties with sick and needy people

On November 1, Red Cross Society of Di An City coordinated with relevant units to organize a Voluntary Blood Donation Day for civil servants and workers in the city. Through health screening, Organizing Committee received 350 units of blood, each unit is 350ml.

On the same day, the City Red Cross Association coordinated with Di An Charity Club to visit and give support to Huy Hoang's family in Tan Dong Hiep ward with the amount of VND20 million. Hoang has leukemia and is undergoing treatment, but his family is in difficult circumstance so he needs the support of the society.

Also on this occasion, Red Cross Association of Di An ward coordinated with volunteer groups to visit and give gifts to people having difficult circumstances in the ward within the program "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address". 

Accordingly, 14 humanitarian addresses belonging to poor and lonely households received gifts in this activity. Each address received a portion of rice and 500,000 VND in cash. Total value of this support was more than VND21 million.
