Di An City holds meeting to celebrate the 97th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

On June 20, Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Di An City held a meeting to celebrate the 97th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st 1925-June 21st 2022).

At the meeting, on behalf of the city's leaders, Pham Van Bay, Vice Chairman of Di An City People's Committee, informed some results achieved over the first 6 months of the city and direction, tasks in the last 6 months of 2022. Accordingly, in the remaining six months of 2022, the whole city political system is determined to fulfill targets of socio-economic development, Party building, building a strong transparent political system.

The city focuses on the goal of became a class-two urban area by the end of 2022; by the end of 2025, the city strives to fulfill class-one urban criteria; by 2050, the city will become a smart city, a hub for education, training and innovation, a commercial center offering high-quality services of Binh Duong.

At the meeting, representatives of press agencies in and outside the province gave many comments on some issues, like: population, transport infrastructure, social infrastructure... to help Di An City develop.

Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary of Di An City, said that with appreciation and progress-seeking, the city leaders always listened to opinions of press agencies in and outside the province. He affirmed that the city would always be ready, responsible, listen to sincere and constructive voices of the press agencies inside and outside the province.

On occasion of the 97th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day, on behalf of the city leaders, Bui Thanh Nhan extended his wishes for good health and success to all journalists of press agencies.
