Di An City’s people take part in blood donation to save lives

On April 3, Di An City Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation coordinated with relevant units to organize a blood donation session in response to the People’s Day of Voluntary Blood Donation (April 7th 2022).

This is the second blood donation session organized this year in the city. With the participation of the propagation campaign of the Red Cross and departments, unions in the city, the blood donation campaign has attracted the involvement of a large number of youth union members, officials, Red Cross volunteers, monks, militias and people in the area coming to donate blood. As a result, after the health screening, the Organizing Committee received 420 units of blood, equivalent to 147,000ml of blood.

The blood drops are the compassion, the effort to contribute to saving patients who are in need of blood for treatment, bringing life and happiness to many people, many families.
