Di An city Trade Union to attentively protect benefits of working people

On June 22 and 23, the Trade Union of Di An city held the 10th Congress of 2023 - 2028 term with the theme of "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development".

At the congress, the attending delegates listened to the draft political report of the 9th Di An city Trade Union Executive Committee of 2015 - 2023 tenure and objectives, directions and tasks for the 2023 – 2028 tenure, review report of the Executive Committee of Di An city Trade Union for the 2015 – 2023 tenure. The Congress held group discussions for delegates to focus on giving opinions on topics on work innovation of trade union activities in the new situations.

Speaking at the Congress, Nguyen Dinh Khanh, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial Trade Union, recognized and praised the achieved results in the last term of the Trade Union of Di An city. Di An city Trade Union has focused on performing well its function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. The city Trade Union at all levels has had many practical and effective activities to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and employees.

In the next term, the Trade Union of Di An city needs to focus on proposing solutions in implementing the targets and tasks according to the Resolution of the term, continue to effectively promote the functions of taking care of, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees, do well in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee of Di An city Trade Union was elected for a new term of 23 members, the Standing Committee of Di An city Trade Union of 7 members. Pham The Hien was elected to hold the position of President of Di An city Trade Union of the 10^th tenure; Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung and Doan Nam Le Thien were elected to hold the positions of Deputy President and Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Audit Committee of of the 10^th Di An city Trade Union; 32 official delegates with 5 alternate delegates were elected to attend the 11th Binh Duong Trade Union Congress of 2023 – 2028 tenure.
