Di An, Dau Tieng reach, surpass targets on socio-economic development

The 11^th Di An town’s People’s Council for the 2016-2021 tenure opened its 11^th session on the morning of December 20.

Reportedly, the town’s socio-economic situation in 2019 continued reaching strides with national defence-security maintained. The town’s industrial production value surged nearly 11% or 100% of the year’s plan. The town’s State budget collection was estimated at more than VND3.29trillion. There were 100% of primary school pupils and 97.63% of secondary school pupils with graduation completion. The rate of public schools herein with national standards was nearly 78.57%. The town also attached special importance to public healthcare and effectively implemented national target programs on healthcare. In 2019, the district’s socio-economic performance continued gaining stable development with the economic growth of over 14.5% compared to the same period last year. The district’s industrial production value was estimated at more than VND6.65trillion, up 22.2%. The district’s value of trade-services was more than VND4.87trillion, up 12.8% while agricultural production was more than VND4.03trillion. At the session, delegations raised questions on economic growth, shortcomings in management for aspects; considered and approved some resolutions on the local decisive policies.
