Di An district Youth Union’s achievements of studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings

In early 2007, Di An district Youth Union launched the mobilization of studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings for the first time. After nearly 4 years of development, the mobilization has developed local youths’ voluntary spirit.

Many youths and unionists join in healthy movements through the mobilization of Di An youths follow Uncle Ho’s teachings.

Boosting activities and movements

To bring the mobilization into depth and turn it into action of each youth and unionist, promulgation plays a crucial role. Di An district youth union has over years held 6 classes on Ho Chi Minh thought for key leaguers.

Implementing Uncle Ho’s teachings of “we must know our history clearly”, a contest entitled “strength of root” helped youths and unionists learn more about national cultural identity. Homebound journeys named “green itinerary” reminded youths and unionists of root of the country and sacrifice of heroes. Meanwhile, pioneers of schools held contests of telling stories about Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples.

Through the mobilization, the district youth union honored 2 typical individuals and introduced 20 deputies to join in a festival for honoring excellent youths who set examples in their studies and followed President Ho Chi Minh’s ethics.

Many effective models developed

The mobilization has emerged more and more effective models and initiatives. The movement of “Families study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” has showed its spread. After nearly 4 years of implementing the mobilization, more than 30,000 pioneers of schools are granted title of good nephews of Uncle Ho. Besides, models of writing diary of following Uncle Ho’s teachings also brought high results.

Lastly, many leaguers affirmed that the mobilization not only helped youths and unionists raise responsibility but develop volunteer spirit of youths. Thenceforth, more and more good examples have emerged.
