Di An focuses on drastic solutions, successfully carrying out tasks

Early October 8, the Executive Board of the 21st Di An city’s Party Committee for the 2020-2025 period held its 21st open session to review the local socio-economic situation, national defenseand security tasks as well as Party-building and political system development for the first nine months of 2024, discuss key tasks and solutions for the rest of the year, in attendance of Nguyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

Reportedly, Di An city's industrial production value in the first nine months of 2024 was approximately 72.99% of the plan, an increase of 10.01% compared to the same period in 2023. The city’s total State budget revenue reached 76.3% of the estimate assigned by provincial People's Committee and the resolution passed by the city’s People's Council, marking a 63.37% increase compared to 2023.

The city continued paying special importance to Party-building and political system development. The city’s Party Committee made creative and practical initiatives in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle, including the model of building the “Uncle Ho’s cultural space” model. Over the past nine months, the city’s Party Committee admitted 177 new Party members, achieving 81.57% of the annual target set by the resolution.

Speaking at the session, Mr. Thao urged Di An city to continue focusing on drastic solutions to successfully achieve the targets and plans set for the year, especially emphasizing the need to meet public investment disbursement goals to stimulate the local economic and social growth. He also emphasized the need for the city to develop and implement a plan based on provincial Party Committee’s specialized resolution "On the urban rejunenation and development of Di An and Thuan An cities by 2030 and  following years” tailored to the local features.
