Di An marks People’s Police Force’s 70th anniversary

On August 17, Di An town held a ceremony to mark the 70^th traditional day of the Vietnam People’s Police Force and the 10^th anniversary of the “All people protect national security” festival.

The town’s police force always upheld the glorious tradition of the sector and well realized their tasks of protecting social security-order during the past 70 years. The local police investigated 2,753 criminal cases and razed large-scale criminal gangs. With achievements done, they were awarded the second, third-class “Feat of Arm” Orders of State President together with hundreds of the certificates of merit of the Ministry of Public Security, provincial Police Agency Director and the local People’s Committees at all levels.

On this occasion, 18 collectives and 42 individuals were also awarded the certificates of merit of the town’s People’s Committee Chairman for their achievements in ensuring social security-order and well realizing the “All people defend national security” movement.
