Di An’s festival for outstanding cultural-sporting families kicked off

Di An district held the Festival 2010 for Outstanding Cultural-Sporting Families at the district’s Center for Culture and Information.

 

The festival lured 13 outstanding cultural-sporting families who competed in three parts: art performance, culinary and sports competition. Finally, families from Binh Thang commune took lead at the festival.

 

This was one of the activities to mark this year’s Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) with the theme: “Preserving and upholding traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families”…On this occasion, participating families had the chance to exchange and share experience in building cultural families and heighten the role of family in society.
