Di An town’s Youth Union has over time made efforts in the task of uniting and gathering young workers. The birth of sub-unions for young workers at the local lodging facilities has contributed to creating useful playgrounds for them and encouraged them get involved in many significant activities for the sake of the community, step by step affirming their role as the future owners of the country.

 Useful playgrounds contribute to taking care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives

In addition to periodic meetings, some sub-unions for young workers in Di An, Tan Binh, An Binh and Dong Hoa have organized exchanges on lifestyle skills for young workers; cooperated wih the local police to speed up propaganda activities against drug addition, crimes and social evils among young workers; called for them to take part in restoring the local traffic safety and order…

Di An town’s Youth Union has also sped up dissemination of information about the Law on Labor, the Law on Marriage-Family and how to prevent HIV/AIDS …among young workers, contributing to raise their awareness of the laws.

So far, Di An town’s Youth Union has completed classes on computer skills, provided vocational consultancy and employment for 450 young workers; attached special importance to the activities of “Paying debt of gratitude” for policy beneficiary families, providing healthcare and gifts for young workers…

Nguyen Thi My Hanh, Secretary of Di An town’s Youth Union said that gathering young workers has been seen a top task of the local Youth Union. Along with the local youths, immigrant youths now play an important role in the process of the local industrialization and modernization.

Also according to Mrs.Hanh, apart from achievements done over the past time, the local Youth Union’s task of gathering young workers has still faced temporary difficulties for change, including the frequently fluctuation of young workforce….
