Over the past five years, Di An town coordinated with mass organizations to speed up propaganda by many forms, aiming to raise the local people’s awareness of environmental protection.

Particularly, they composed and issued 50,000 sets of documents propagandizing the Law on Environmental Law and the regulation on collecting and treating waste for proprietors, lodgers, households, cadres and civil servants across the town with a total expense of VND89mln.

The town also printed and delivered 1,500 leaflets on ways to know and treat family harmful waste in a proper way, regulations on collecting and treating solid waste; 240 books regulating environmental protection fees for waste water, legal documents on hazardous waste management and waste import to enterprises; 30 handbooks on “Chung suc bao ve moi truong” (Joining hands in environmental protection) to the People’s Committees of wards and mass organizations in the town.
