Remarkable results of budget collection

According to Di An town People’s Committee, as of July, 2013 local socio-economy maintained a high growth pace. Specifically, the locality won VND3.082bil in the industrial production value, VND9,620bil in retail and service and many more.

Meanwhile, the local budget collection also reached remarkable results with VND138.174bil in July and local budget expenditure was at VND437.864bil. Amid the common difficulties of economy, the local budget collection was considered as a remarkable effort. However, it is estimated that budget collection will encounter many obstacles in the remaining months of this year.  

According to the town People’s Committee vice chairman Nguyen Van Nghia, prolonged tax debts will impact on local budget collection, so the town People’s Committee should focus on solving prolonged tax debts. In addition, the town taxation sector will must concentrating on exploiting additional new collection sources to assure 2013’s budget collection.

Spurring basic construction

As of the end of July, Di An town disbursed over VND211bil in basic construction capital, winning over 71% of its yearly plan. Thanks to acceleration of key works, many basic construction works in the locality were put into use.

Though Di An town reaches good results in basic construction work, its field of site clearance and compensation faces many difficulties. In July, the town compensated VND57.54bil for households affected by projects whilst site clearance of some big works still faced many obstacles.

Therefore, the town authority will in the coming time focus on drastically dealing the shortcomings in a bid to hasten progress of works.
