Di An Women’s Union visits and gives gifts to 28 orphans.

In October 2021, Di An City Women’s Union has directed union branches to survey orphan cases whose parents died from Covid-19 to promptly support and help them with accommodation, learning conditions and stability of life.

The Women’s Union visited, encouraged the families and gave gifts to 28 orphans because of Covid-19, with a total amount of VND 28 million. In addition, the union officials visited and encouraged 2 volunteers and 1 officer who participated in the frontline forces of Covid-19 fighting; guide citizens of Dong Thap province living in Di An City to return to their locality and support pregnant women having difficult circumstances living in the city.

Besides, the city Women’s Union continued to call on for gifts and medical equipment to donate to quarantine zones, encourage officials and members to participate in online contest of law on fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue. The union’s volunteers also helped with rapid sampling and testing with more than 55,000 samples.
