The provincial People's Committee and the provincial Trade Union Federation have recently organized the signing of a coordination agreement for 2024-2026. One of the important tasks set is to focus on organizing dialogues and resolving legitimate requests and needs of trade union members and workers.

Chairwoman Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, said that with the coordination and support of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, and sectors in the past time, the Binh Duong Trade Union has effectively performed its function of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers in enterprises. In the coming time, the two sides will enhance coordination in participating in the construction of policies related to the rights and interests of trade union members, workers; research policies to support female migrant workers with additional conditions for stabilizing family life, especially policies on affordable housing purchase, cultural and educational arrangements, to have conditions for taking care of children; coordinate timely grasping and resolving issues related to security and safety in laborers.

In the field of physical education and sports, the provincial People's Committee proposes that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism research sports suitable for labor conditions, economic conditions, and build a foundation for basic sports movements in factories and enterprises.

Sharing about this issue, Mr. Cao Van Chong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the construction of cultural and sports facilities in the province currently basically meets the entertainment and cultural enjoyment needs of workers. Many Cultural Centers have been operating effectively. In particular, mention should be made of the Provincial Labor Cultural Center; the clusters of artificial turf have organized diverse and rich activities such as workers' football tournaments, workers' singing competitions. Many units in the area also organize sports events, cultural performances that attract a large number of workers to participate. “In the coming time, the staff and coordination office will need to organize these activities on a larger scale and more systematically in order to create a healthy and beneficial playground for members and workers in enterprises,” Mr. Cao Van Chong said.

To successfully coordinate between the provincial People's Committee and the provincial labor union in the period of 2024-2026, many recommendations need to be harmoniously coordinated to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. According to Mr. Truong Van Phong, Deputy Head of the provincial Industrial Zone Management Board, in the past time, agencies and departments have done well in coordinating the resolution of material and spiritual life for workers. However, to achieve better effectiveness in this work, there needs to be even smoother coordination from the local authorities where the enterprise is based; regularly organizing dialogues, understanding the thoughts of the workers, encouraging them to comply with the law; actively participating in providing feedback on the construction of laws and policies related to the rights and interests of trade union members and workers.
