On June 29, the Binh Duong Statistical Office held a press conference to announce the socio-economic statistics of Binh Duong province in the first 6 months of 2022. Attending the press conference was representatives of the leaders of the departments,  provincial departments and agencies and local press agencies.

 Mr. Ngo Van Mit, Director of the provincial Statistics Office, said that in the first 6 months of 2022, the whole country's socio-economic development took place in the context that the world economy still maintained its recovery momentum and production activities wirh  boosted global supplying chain. The province's goods export activities recovered quite well as the export value of goods was estimated at nearly USD 19 billion with surplus trade at more than USD 6.1 billion, of which the US market accounted for the highest proportion with  export turnover of USD 6.478 billion, followed by the EU market with USD 2.2 billion, Korea and Japan with over USD 1.8 billion;  Taiwan more than USD 1.4 billion and Hong Kong nearly USD 1.4 billion. Total budget revenue reached VND 34,800 billion, reaching 58% of the estimate assigned by the provincial People's Council and the Prime Minister.
