Talking to reporters, Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Director of provincial Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) said that the "Digital Binh Duong" app was built in the direction of SuperApp on mobile platform with the orientation of a single application with integrated features, extending specialized functions. Departments and agencies are responsible for developing and ensuring data for smart city services provided on the app. Up to now, there have been nearly 5,000 installations of the "Digital Binh Duong" app (including 1,544 installations of iOS, 1,592 installations of Android).

The province's construction of the "Digital Binh Duong" app with the expectation of forming up a general communication channel between people, businesses and provincial government; creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to use online public services, reflect on recommendations, look up and exploit information and data provided by State agencies…, thereby contributing to the socio-economic management, better serving people during the process of digital transformation.

According to Le Tuan Anh, Director of provincial Department of Information and Communications, in order to promote the tasks of installing, using, setting up, processing data and making connection to provincial Intelligent Operation Center (IOC), Chairman of provincial People's Committee has just requested departments, sectors, mass organizations, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to seriously implement the "Digital Binh Duong” apply.

Accordingly, all cadres, civil servants, public employees who have smartphones will install the “Digital Binh Duong" app for themselves, support and guide their relatives to install it. Departments, sectors, mass organizations and localities will launch the movement of installing the app and guide, support people to install it... The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities should implement and direct the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns, mass organizations, residential groups, community-based digital groups to inform, propagandize, mobilize, guide and support people to install and use the "Digital Binh Duong" app.

Provincial Department of Information and Communications will coordinate with Binh Duong Newspaper, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, provincial e-portal, district/commune-level radio stations and other local media to propagandize, mobilize and guide people how to install the "Digital Binh Duong" app on smartphones; direct telecommunications service providers in the province, namely VNPT, Viettel, Mobifone, FPT Telecom... to display a notice requesting to install the "Digital Binh Duong" app; direct propaganda to people through the grassroots radio system with periodic repeat.
