Disbursement of loans for women to develop homebased business

The Women's Union of Vinh Phu ward in Thuan An City has just coordinated with Lai Thieu People's Credit Fund to disburse more than VND 1 billion in loan for 14 members to recover and develop homebased business after Covid-19 pandemic. Accordingly, each member is considered to borrow from VND30million to VND50million for economic development.

Since 2021, the Women's Union of Vinh Phu ward has introduced loans from Lai Thieu People's Credit Fund to 30 women with an amount of nearly VND 1.7 billion while helping 32 members get more than VND1.55 billion in loan from the local loan program for job creation. In addition, the association also helped 67 female heads of poor and near-poor households to get more than VND 2.6 billion from other policy capital sources.
