Discussion on reading culture development

Morning April 20, Department of Information and Communications, Provincial Youth Union and Thu Dau Mot University co-organized a discussion on developing reading culture on occasion of Vietnamese Books’ Day (21 Apr ) and World Copyright’s Day (23 Apr). More than 450 officials of departments, police forces, military, youth union, and students of Thu Dau Mot University attended the seminar.

At the seminar, writer Vo Dac Danh, Poet - Elite physician Le Hung VKD talked about writing career, inspiration for the creation. Besides, the two also shared secrets of reading, feeling about books; collecting good, useful books. The talk helped literary lovers find writing inspiration, grasp the rules of composition and reading methods to feel the beauty, essence of each book. This was also an activity to encourage young people to read books, and then develop reading culture.

On this occasion, Department of Information and Communication mobilized bookstores in and outside the province to donate 450 books to attendees.
