Diverse cultural activities to be held during Tet at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

From February 19th through the 21st (the 6th to 8th day of the first lunar month), visitors to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology will enjoy diverse and specific ethnic cultural activities performed by different ethnic minority groups nationwide.

 

The dance of the Thai ethnic group in the central province of Nghe An

 

Activities will include gong performances of more than 20 Trieng ethnic minority people, special dances and folk songs by the Thai ethnic minority group, water puppetry performances by people from the northern province of Hai Duong, calligraphy performances, and folklore games.

 

Visitors will enjoy special dishes of the Tay ethnic minority group from the northern mountainous province of Lang Son and tiger toy making as next year will be the year of tiger.
