Diversified activities during the 2015 Youth Month
With the motto of “Each Youth Union carries out at least one significant deed, contributing to building up Bau Bang homeland”, young people in Bau Bang district got involved in many meaningful activities during the 2015 Youth Month.
Particularly, the district’s Youth Union awarded 5 “Giving strength to school” scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils; visited and presented gifts worth VND9mln to 17 policy beneficiary families, wounded and sick soldiers; launched the “Voluntary Saturday” and “Green Sunday” campaign; delivered over 5,000 propaganda leaflets on the Law on Road Traffic, the new rural construction program to each local household.
The district’s Youth Union also installed Vietnamese maps at the offices of all 43 hamlets with a total expense of more than VND17mln in celebration of Party congresses at all levels towards the 12th National Party congress and the 84th anniversary of the Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2015).
