Do not neglect vaccination against Covid-19

Recently, the whole country has recorded less than 1,000 cases of Covid-19 every day, a very low number compared to the period of the pandemic outbreak. Because of the pandemic's tendency to "cool down", people have begun neglecting the 3rd and 4th vaccination against Covid-19. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has not completely ended, but more dangerous and new variants may appear. Therefore, people need to have the right and sufficient awareness about the booster vaccination against Covid-19 to protect the health of themselves and the community.

The Covid-19 pandemic across the country in general and in the province in particular is currently showing a clear trend of decreasing cases. This proves the effectiveness of pandemic prevention and control measures with the effectiveness of vaccination being the most important factor. Binh Duong is one of the country’s leading localities in the rate and progress of vaccination against Covid-19, so the local pandemic situation has been controlled. Currently, only 2-5 cases of Covid-19 are recorded every day in the province and there are days without Covid-19 cases recorded. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has only decreased, but not stopped completely. Therefore, it is very necessary for people to get booster shots.

Researches of the world’s medical sector have soon announced that antibodies from the Covid-19 vaccines do not have to be maintained for a long time or remain in the body forever, but will gradually decrease over time and may lose protection against SARS-CoV-2 virus. Moreover, there are still high-risk subjects with underlying diseases, so getting the 3rd and 4th Covid-19 vaccine doses to create the "shield" is necessary to protect their health.

Currently, the Covid-19 pandemic is under control. The number of infected people and deaths has decreased sharply. The result has many causes, but the most important reason is that the community has been vaccinated against Covid-19. However, some views do not have scientific evidence that vaccination against Covid-19 is harmful, even leading to infertility, forgetfulness... Some people think that 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine are enough and they don’t need to get booster shots anymore. Those are incorrect views without scientific basis. The health sector recommends that people are be proactive, self-conscious and actively get the 3rd and 4th Covid-19 booster shots to protect the health of themselves and the community.
