“Don Ca Tai Tu - Cai Luong” art promoted in school

A thematic talk show on "Features of traditional and modern Vietnamese history - culture" in combination with the 2022 program introducing the intangible culture of Don Ca Tai Tu - Cai Luong (traditional southern folk opera) in schools at Di An city’s Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education on the morning of December 4.

At the talk show, Dr. Huynh Duc Thien, Head of the Subject of Vietnamese history and society of the Faculty of Vietnam under HCM city University of Social Sciences and Humanities shared with teachers and students of the city’s Center for Vocational Education and Continuing Education about cultural quintessence of humanity, features of Vietnam's cultural history from tradition to modernity.

On this occasion, Di An city’s Center of Culture, Information and Sports in collaboration with the city’s Traditional Music Club introduced the art form of Don ca tai tu - cai luong. Through performances by artists and amateurs, teachers and students of the city’s Center for Vocational Education and Continuing Education have more knowledge about Don Ca Tai Tu and feel unique values of the heritage art form recognized by UNESCO since 2013.
