Being imbrued with the principle of "when drinking water, remember its source", "eating fruit, remember who planted the tree", over the past 75 years, the Party and State always paid attention to well leading and directing the work of war invalids, martyrs and revolutionary contributors. The Party and State’s guidelines and policies for war invalids, martyrs ‘families and revolutionary contributors were promulgated and implemented effectively and practically, showing the Party and State's respect, gratitude and thoughtful care to them.
In the series of activities towards the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs ‘Day this year, leaders of the province, all-level authorities and sectors have organized many practical activities to take care of people's material and spiritual lives, showing deep gratitude and honor of the society and community to war invalids and martyrs ‘families, contributing to highlighting cultural beauty and enriching humanity traditions imbued with the sentiments of our nation. The activities to take care of the families of war invalids, martyrs and revolutionary contributors are growing, spreading far and wide, and receiving positive response from the community. People from all strata, social organizations and individuals have been proactive to participate in activities of "paying debt of gratitude", "when drinking water, remembering its source", contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries with living standards that are equal to or better than the average ones of the people. In addition, we need to further review, supplement and perfect a system of preferential policies and laws, especially pay special attention to solving problems for timely adjustment so that war invalids and martyrs ‘families can fully enjoy the Party and State’s preferential policies.
Celebrating the War Invalids and Martyrs ‘Day this year is an occasion for us to honor and pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives to the national independence and freedom. To memorize gratitude, we must continue caring for policy beneficiaries with all responsibilities, full of love... It is thought that organizations, units, businesses and donors should join hands with the Party and State in giving good care to war invalids, martyrs’ families and revolutionary contributors. This is also the obligation and responsibility to express the nation’s traditional morals of "when drinking water, remember its source", "when eating fruit, remember who planted the tree".
